MatSetu ("the App") is operated by Kash Info Solution Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Phone number: Used for WhatsApp OTP login and account identification.
Device contacts: Read-only access to match voter phone numbers already in our system. Contact names and numbers are not uploaded to our servers.
Phone state: Used only to detect when a call ends so the feedback screen can appear automatically.
Call logs (in-app): Notes you enter after a call (e.g. "With us", "Follow up") are saved to our servers to help campaign coordinators track outreach progress.
2. How We Use Your Information
To authenticate you via WhatsApp OTP.
To match your phone contacts against the voter list assigned to you.
To record call feedback entered by you and make it visible to your campaign admin.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party except:
WhatsApp Business API (Meta) — used only to send OTP messages.
Campaign administrators within your organisation who have authorised access.
4. Data Storage
Data is stored on secure servers hosted in India. Contact data synced to your device is stored locally and is never uploaded to our servers.
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.
6. Permissions Explained
READ_CONTACTS: To match your saved contacts against the voter list. No contacts are uploaded.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To detect when you return from a phone call so the feedback sheet appears automatically.
CALL_PHONE: To dial voter numbers directly from the app.
INTERNET: To communicate with our servers for login and data sync.
7. Children's Privacy
This app is intended for use by authorised campaign field workers (adults only). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
